Utah is the constituent state of the United States of America and its capitallands exactly in the north central region of the state. Most of its landscapes are formed by mountains, high plateaus, and desert. The state lies in the heart of the west and is bounded by Idaho to the north and Wyoming to the northeast. Colorado is at the east, Arizona is to the south while Nevadais at the west. And at four corners in the southeast, Utah meets Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona at the right angles, the only exceptional meeting of the states in the country. Utha became the 45th member of the union on January 4th in 1896.
The best way to get around in the states is by renting out a car, although there are private shuttles and tour options. There is great public transportation, including TRAX light rail, FrontRunner commuter rail and the UTA bus system.
